Show Offs at Ellerslie on again – an opportunity for Growers
It’s less than six months until the gates open for the 2013 Ellerslie International Flower Show. The 2013 Show will build on the success of this year’s event which international judges and visitors praised as the best in the last decade. The 2012 Show has been internationally recognised with a global garden tourism award, being named by the Canadian Garden Tourism Council as "one of the world’s premier garden shows".
The dynamic design duo of Danny Kamo of Kamomarsh Landscape Architects and 2012 Rugby World Cup-winning All Black Andy Ellis return to next year’s Ellerslie International Flower Show with their international award-winning garden. The pair won Gold at the Singapore Garden Festival with their first international garden, competing against 15 of the world’s top garden designers. Their garden has an earthquake-theme based on Maori mythology and is guaranteed to be a show-stopper. The pair worked with Sir Richard Taylor and the talented Oscar-winning Weta Workshop team to design the garden.
NGINZ will be involved at the 2013 show with a repeat of a “Show Offs” exhibit in the Hort Galore Marquee that will showcase new plants for the 2012 - 13 seasons. This is a fantastic opportunity to exhibit to an avid gardening public, plus receive promotion on the Go Gardening website and in the magazine.
Details on how you can be take part are on the enclosed entry form. To register your interest, complete the form and return to the NGINZ office, or contact Frances ,
