Young Achiever 2013 - time to Step up?
Daniel Chong triumphed in2012’s completion and goes on to represent the nursery and garden industry at November’s Young Horticulturist of the Year. Congratulations Daniel and best of luck for November.
The NGI HortFert Young Achiever of the year award is the industry’s premier method of encouraging and recognise excellence among our young people – they are the future of our industry, and we all must work to foster and encourage their development.
In December we’ll call for entrants into next year’s Young Achiever award. How about tapping a friend, staff members or colleague on the shoulder and get them thinking about entering? It’s not hard, it is challenging, and it is rewarding. The principle criteria are an enthusiasm for our industry and that that to be 30 years of age or less on 31 December in the year of the award.
And it is not just open to NGINZ members, all in the nursery and garden centre industry can nominate entrants.
