Daniel Chong, HortFert’s Young Achiever 2012 came up trumps at the Young Horticulturist of the Year competition. While not placed in the overall competition, Daniel's speech was adjusted best - in three minutes he summarised the characteristics that our industry leaders need to face the challenges ahead.

The Fruitfed Supplies Best Overall Speech Award sees Daniel bank $500. He was also awarded $500 for his AGMARDT project - solar propagation heat beds.

Viticulturist Braden Crosby won the Young Horticulturist of the Year, as well as second place in the Agmardt Innovation Award.
